It is one of the most sensitive and mobile organs in the human body that extends from the wrist to the end of the fingers.
The hands are the means that allow us to express ourselves in the world, the external manifestation of the inner capacity to handle our reality and our experiences.
No two hands are alike; hence they are used as individual identifying organs: fingerprints.
Through the hands we can also draw important conclusions: warm hands give us a sensation of heat, of contact.
On the contrary, cold hands reveal coldness to us, little desire to establish contacts.
Showing an open hand is a gesture that indicates that we have nothing to hide and that we are ready for a peaceful relationship.
At other times our hands twitch when we are nervous.
They can also express fear, or be a symbol of contact, “shake hands”; and communication, not only for the mute, but for all people, since gesticulation is very important to transmit and communicate.
We can use the hand to give (giving is the reason for our existence), to take, “take something in hand”; to touch and feel, (it is said that they are the prolongation of the heart); to protect and help, “reach out to someone.”
They can also be used as a show of force, “put your hand on someone”; or to attack and strike, “clenched fist”; etc.
The hand is the channel through which an idea manifests or becomes reality. It is the final support of the action and without it the performance of the act could not be carried out.
Problems at the hands tell us about our connection to action in the outside world. It means that we have a problem in our work, with our work, with our ability to do something, with our precision and ability in the face of work, etc.
They tell us that what we do with our hands does not please us and we force ourselves to do it, we do not do it out of love.
It is possible that we believe that we are not up to performing a certain task (feeling clumsy manually), that we lack dexterity or that we lack security of our actions or in our desire to act, for fear of being wrong or for lack of confidence in ourselves.
“I hate doing this”, “They force me to do this”, “I don’t like this job.”
“This work seems tedious to me”, “I hate this job”, “I’m not good at…”
“Today I did not want to come to work”, “For coming to work I could not do…”
The palm of the hand represents the father or our aptitude as a father.
When we have a problem we must analyze our “competence, responsibility” as a parent or our work practice in relation to our father, if he supports us, devalues us, etc.
Likewise, they can tell us about devaluation due to not being able to assume a function, a role, a task.
“Maybe I stopped being with my children to work”,
“Or maybe I do a job that my father doesn’t like”
We can also have problems when we prevent ourselves from doing something, when we do not grant ourselves permission, or when we have the feeling of not being able to act because someone or something dissuades or stops us.
They also express to us that we can maintain a relationship of dominance, of power, of possession or that we want to catch, squeeze or dominate the world or people well, of our own free will or out of fear.
Our hands have the ability to express any emotion that we have, as well as have the power to put into practice any desire and act that we want to perform.
If I hurt myself or my hands bleed, surely there is a situation in my life, a dream, a project that I have the feeling of not being able to carry out and this causes me great sadness.
If the pain affects the left hand, it will be related to our ability to receive.
Do you think you deserve what you receive or do you think that when someone gives you something, he does it so that you return him?
Do you accept what you receive with love or do you think you should give something in return?
When it affects the right hand, it will be related to our inability to give. It also symbolically represents collaterals.
Do we give with too many expectations or do we do it as a duty, because we believe that we are obliged to do so?
Are we afraid that others will abuse us taking advantage of our difficulty to say “no”?
Reflection: How do I really work? What do I do with my fingers professionally? What reason prevents me from acting? What is it that I don’t want to accept?
Where should I give in?
Recommendations to recover physical, emotional and spiritual health:
I learn to let go and I realize that the only power I have is over me and not over others.
May love be the base where all our actions and the energy that drives our experiences are sustained.
