Chloasma also known as melasma are dark, brown or grayish spots that appear on the face especially during pregnancy.
They usually appear mainly on the cheeks, forehead, nose and upper lip, and less frequently around the eyes.
Surely, the skin then darkens to protect itself from contact with the sun.
Symbolically the sun is associated with the father; the skin is related to contact and the face to our image.
Therefore, it is an attempt to avoid contact with the father, because it can affect our image.
What conflict of contact do I have with my father or the father of my child?
The conflict may refer to excess, defect, non-existent or bad contact.
Facial problems, such as chloasma, tell us about the difficulties we have with our image, what we are, what we represent, what we think others see in us.
If I have problems, it warns me that I feel my image has been devalued for having been soiled, stained, etc.
Or, for having received a “slap in the face.”
It also tells me that I have put my face up for someone and it has made me look bad.
Similarly, it warns me of blows received in the face (real or symbolic). In the same way, it tells me that I may have lost my dignity, or that I have been the object of mockery or ridicule.
