ULCERATIVE COLITIS, emotional and spiritual meaning

by | Jan 1, 2025 | Diseases of the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

Ulcerative colitis is a symptom in which the colon and rectum become inflamed, producing ulcers.

This symptom warns me of a conflict of lack of identity and recognition in the territory.

“I want to go to hell from this place, house, work, etc.”

Who am I in this territory?

Many times I feel forced to do things I don’t want to do.

But I do them anyway even though I know I’m always going to end up the same way, “fucked up,” disrespected, humiliated, etc.

I am unable to be myself in front of authority and in front of my personal relationships.

As a consequence, I control my behavior and my actions because I fear the reaction of those who can give me approval and love.

It is probably because I am a person who needs affection and appreciation.

Because of this, I feel forced to please everyone.

Even if I have to repress my personality and my fundamental needs.

“I am not myself and I do not dare to express my emotions”

People with ulcerative colitis constantly feel “upset and angry” about situations they have experienced and which they refuse to forget and forgive, even though they pretend otherwise.

They refuse to let go, to evacuate, so they forgive without forgiving and forget without forgetting.

What is my relationship like with my family, partner, work, etc.?

Was I forced to swallow (symbolically) a bad mouthful, a dirty trick in the form of a betrayal that I would never have expected?

“I always give the best of myself to others and they pay me with contempt”

Am I afraid “that this is the end”, “that the life I lead is over”, and I live it with helplessness and resignation?

In the family tree or transgenerational tree I must look for situations in which there has been “forgiveness without forgiving”.

And I, as a double of that ancestor, have inherited that vulnerability.

If someone appears, we will have to write a letter of mourning for him or her.

As long as I remain submissive and without the courage to break off with everything or to walk away, I will continue to have ulcerative colitis.

I must learn to develop self-esteem and self-respect at all times.
