The wound of abandonment: During the time that the baby has remained in its mother’s womb, its physical needs have been met in a natural way.
The child in this period has remained in an intimate connection with his mother, whom he could not differentiate himself and in that habitat has developed and he has felt safe.
Once the child is born, he needs physically, energetically and psychically the presence of his mother, to perceive her scent, to touch her, to know if he is safe.
And the maternal instinct encourages the mother to breastfeed, hug and be with him as long as possible, at least for the first two years.
The whole child’s body is a sense organ open to all kinds of impressions.
The child is extremely sensitive to his immediate environment, so an expression of love, a smile, a pleasant and welcoming environment on the part of the people around him, everything influences the child.
In the same way those negative feelings, foolish acts or any other negative attitude does.
The first days of a child’s life have a lasting influence as first impressions grow with the child’s body.
Many international studies indicate the bad practices that are usually carried out in hospitals (public and private) at one of the most important moments in human life: birth.
Unfortunately, the custom of cutting the umbilical cord that connects you to your mother immediately still persists in some maternity centers.
Until now, the baby received food from her through this organ;
If we abruptly stop this flow of physical and psychic energy, we can cause him great emotional pain and a feeling of separation from his mother.
Such a fact can reactivate memories, of previous lives, related to situations in which they have suffered cruel separations and, as a consequence, losses and abandonment.
There are other unconscious negative behaviours that are usually carried out in some hospitals and I mean the custom of separating the baby from the heat and the heartbeat of his mother for medical checkups, to wash him and put on his new diapers and then place him in a crib separated from the protection of his mother.
This absence after delivery is perceived by the baby as a danger to her survival.
To avoid this, wouldn’t it be much better to be able to perform all these tests by placing the baby on top of its mother so that he can continue to maintain contact, skin to skin and perceiving her scent and her energy?
Although on a scientific level, due to ignorance, it is not taken into account, there is a very important union between the baby and its mother at an energy level that lasts in time after the umbilical cord is born and cut.
The etheric body of the baby and the mother is totally united.
The childbirth causes the separation of the physical bodies, but the energetic union continues further.
The use of these customs can cause states of affective deficiency in the baby, which can lead to a feeling of painful abandonment.
It is essential that the mother gradually lets go of her child, accompanying the progressive separation full consciousness, so that she does not suffer a trauma.
On the other hand, breastfeeding has a great importance in the development of the person since she is born.
For the baby, feeding is not only the satisfaction of a basic need, but also the occasion to enjoy care and love.
Food represents the first link life and with love, that is, with the mother.
This feeling, this relationship, is preserved forever.
In today’s society, breastfeeding is not given, the value it deserves, which should be normal, natural, healthy.
Breast milk is considered to have only nutritional value, so that artificial feeding is normalized and becomes a choice without taking into account the consequences for the baby.
Since ancient times it has been well known that breastfeeding supposes an extraordinary energy and mental contribution for the baby that artificial feeding cannot provide.
For example: the mother, through a small chakra that she has in her nipple, exchanges energy and information with her baby and that will be decisive for the physical, emotional and mental health for the rest of her life.
I think it is very important that mothers are very informed about it so that they can make a conscious decision and not thinking that one thing does not matter.
Today, large companies dedicated to the manufacture of formula milk can take advantage of people’s ignorance.
Sometimes they try to make us believe that, nutritionally, there is no difference between one type of milk and another. This is absolutely not true.
Formula feeding should always be the second option a mother turns to when, for one reason or another, she cannot breastfeed her child.
It is true that in those cases in which the mother has no other option, the bottle will be an absolutely necessary and useful substitute.
But even in these cases, it would be ideal for the mother to learn to bottle-feed consciously.
Although the psychological effect on the baby won’t be the same, it may help more than if she did it mechanically.
Bottle feeding can be done with physical contact, skin-to-skin, with eye contact, at the baby’s request and not on a schedule set by others.
However, a bottle-fed baby may experience energy deficiency, which can inevitably reactivate memories of deprivation and abandonment.
There are other situations in life in which a baby with an oral character structure may have felt a lack of affection or abandonment from its mother.
This, of course, has not happened intentionally. It may be felt in real situations of physical abandonment, whether due to the death of its mother or separation from her for work or divorce, etc.
But even if the child carries strong memories of deprivation, loneliness, and abandonment from other lives, any similar situation may be enough to cause the child to experience feelings of abandonment and helplessness.
For example: the mother’s absence for a few days, the child’s admission to daycare or hospital stay, or perhaps being left in the care of neighbors for a short period.
