DIVERTICULOSIS, emotional and spiritual meaning

by | Dec 12, 2025 | Diseases of the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM

Diverticulosis is a colon abnormality characterized by the presence of diverticula in the colon wall.

A diverticulum is a tiny pouch, a receptacle where something is stored or hidden.

It’s a corner of the intestine created to hold something very unpleasant that I’ve experienced.

It’s usually a very painful betrayal by someone I never expected to behave in such a deplorable and vile way towards me.

It has caused me so much pain that I can’t even talk about it, much less release it.

Inside, I feel anger and rage about what happened, and this causes these pouches or diverticula to become inflamed (diverticulitis) and cause me pain.

It’s a symptom similar to inflammation of the appendix (appendicitis).

Diverticulitis primarily affects introverted men who have difficulty expressing their feelings.

As a result, they prefer to hide or refuse to acknowledge the negative things that happen to them.

They try to convince themselves that “everything is fine” and that the family’s “dirty” business should stay at home, and although they intend to forget it, it resurfaces and repeats itself again and again.

They are definitely trapped in a vicious cycle from which they cannot escape:

“I feel powerless to free myself from so many unpleasant things that affect me,”

“I am forced to forgive, but I cannot forget.”

It might be related to social, educational, or cultural pressure from my environment, which I reject.

But I find it very difficult to escape. I feel caught in a trap.

“I’m fed up with having to sacrifice what’s mine for others, and on top of that, they don’t even acknowledge it.”

Bladder diverticulum: It originates from the same causes as diverticulosis but related to the territory, home, work, car, etc.

The first step toward a solution is acceptance, but how can I solve something whose existence I refuse to accept?

I accept and allow the old to go, to make room for the new in my life.

I remain open to the reality I’m experiencing and open my divine channel to help me integrate this experience through the love I feel within me.

Being unable to say “no” is a learned behavior that often functions as an emotional defense mechanism. At a deep psychological level, your mind has come to associate saying “no” with a threat to your relationships or your emotional stability; consequently, it chooses...
