When we have some ailment in the peritoneum it is because we are living or have lived an emotional conflict related to very deep fear.
Surely, some circumstance has made us feel panic about what is happening inside our belly.
Probably, someone has attacked our integrity, our way of being and of seeing life.
“I want to protect my womb, my baby.”
“I am very afraid of suffering from cancer.”
This occurs when we have felt attacked or we are afraid of being hurt or injured.
We may be worried about some matter related to the abdominal cavity.
Probably, we have received a serious medical diagnosis related to the abdomen.
Or, symbolically, we have felt hurt as a result of something unfair that has been said about us.
Or by some offense that has hit us in our belly.
In some cases, it is necessary to find out if I have experienced this event.
Or, in reality, it has happened to a relative of mine whom I love deeply and I have identified with his situation.
Certainly, the unconscious does not know how to distinguish between the me and the you.
It is based on what we are feeling.
For this reason, if I am afraid that someone might die, my unconscious will understand that I am afraid of dying.
The inflammation of the peritoneum membrane is called peritonitis:
When inflammation occurs in the peritoneum it is because we are feeling anger and rage as a consequence of a situation in which we have felt unprotected.
“I could not or did not know how to protect myself.
Or I was not protected, in something related to the abdomen.”
Ascites: this is the appearance of serous fluid in the peritoneum cavity.
It warns us of a situation in which we are feeling fear, panic and need to be protected.
“Making liquid is a solution, to protect myself from aggression”
“I want to protect my belly”
Probably, we have difficulty accepting the advice of others.
Chronic ascites: the biological sense of this symptom is to increase my protection.
I probably have the desire to separate myself from a person.
Or a situation that represents a problem for me (in relation to the abdomen).
“I feel invalidated, incapacitated.”
