Nausea is the sensation you feel in your stomach before vomiting.
What is the biological meaning of nausea?
During nausea, the contents of the duodenum return to the stomach to be expelled.
It is the first reaction to a message of “something toxic” that must be eliminated.
The nausea that occurs before vomiting is clearly a manifestation of fear, disgust, guilt, confusion, and rejection of an idea or experience.
It is often related to an aspect of my life that I want to reject (a person, situation, food, etc.) because it disgusts me.
It can also be linked to a feeling of guilt about an action or thought.
Similarly, it can be the consequence of a fear of something or someone, a situation, or a change.
Nausea can also reflect our inability to understand a situation or make a decision.
Nausea can also express our desire to repay, to rid ourselves of an injustice.
The person feels threatened and repulsed by someone or something.
“There’s something I don’t accept, something I reject,”
“This is unacceptable, I can’t admit it, I can’t stomach it”,
“I’m forced to accept a situation that bothers me.”
Feeling that something wrong has happened, something for which one feels responsible, and a desire to “return” things to their original state, as if nothing had happened.
Typical reflections include:
“I wish it had never happened,”
“I’m so sorry I did it,” or “I wish things were the way they were in the beginning.”
These are people who cannot process their “experiences”; they are unable to assimilate what is happening to them, they find it very difficult to cope with a personal or material situation:
and they are afraid of the negative consequences it may have on their lives.
They usually occur in people with a perfectionist disposition, who want to do many things at once and are afraid of not getting things right, or of not getting what they expected.
Their tendency to mix everything up creates a certain amount of disarray that makes them feel confused and overwhelmed, preventing them from doing the things they want to.
The consequences of this overload are nausea.
