Walking on Tiptoe, emotional and spiritual meaning

by | Oct 8, 2024 | Diseases of the MUSCULOSKELETAL SYSTEM

Walking on tiptoe, emotional meaning: Discomfort related to the feet goes hand in hand with the maternal relationship, real or symbolic.

The meaning that one has for the mother or the maternal function that one is performing.

On the other hand, the foot can show conflicts related to our attitude to walking and moving forward in life.

Walking on tiptoe consists of putting weight on the toes, with the heels off the ground.

It is common during early childhood, when children are learning to walk. If the symptom persists after 2 years, I suggest that you take into account the following observations.

If the cause is a problem in the heel, it is necessary to take into account the biological and emotional meaning of this part of the body.

Why do I have the tendency to walking on tiptoe, what is the point? The biological point is to not make noise, so that my presence is not noticed and to go unnoticed.

Since the sole of the foot represents our mother, the fact of walking without supporting it on the ground means that “I cannot or do not want to support myself on it.”

Perhaps, during conception or pregnancy I have perceived a certain threat from her because, perhaps, she has hesitated to have me and, in some way, I have not felt well received and supported.

“I must be very careful with my mother, it is better that she does not perceive me,” “I do not want to see her, I do not want to touch her.”

We must find out if it has not been my mother, my father or some ancestor who has lived a situation in which it is very important to protect one’s presence so that no one discovers him and I am repeating the same program.

For example, someone who always comes home late and does not want to be discovered.

People who walking on tiptoe have little contact with reality, rather the opposite, they live wrapped in great dreams and fantasies.

They tend to be elusive, so they have difficulty settling in a certain place and taking root.

Generally, they are people endowed with great creativity.

To reflect on:

Do you like where your feet are leading you or would you like to direct them in another direction?

Do you feel supported by them or are you insecure about the steps you take in life?
